Foppe is a qualified physiotherapist and Patient Handling Consultant, with experience in acute care and geriatric rehabilitation. As Patient Handling Consultant he was a co-publisher on studies to analyse the ‘State of Technique’ in Acute Care and Special Care in the Netherlands, as starting point for the design an implementation of national guidelines on safe patient handling.He has worked for over 20 years as a consultant for Arjo Netherlands, designing assessments and programs for customers to support outcome strategies, focusing on both safe patient handling and pressure injury prevention.His current role as Global Senior Clinical Consultant for Arjo involves the development of customer facing assessments and programs that support the Arjo Outcome Strategy, responsibility for enablement and successful implementation of Arjo Insight and Arjo outcomes programs in Europe, South Africa and India. The role includes close collaboration with the Global Marketing team, the Academy, Product Management and clinical experts in Healthcare.
