Provizio SEM Scanner
Deliver objective and anatomically-specific pressure injury risk assessment, ensuring a 5-day*¹ window of opportunity to deploy a targeted and tailored pressure injury prevention strategy that helps minimize pressure injury incidence and reduce overall cost and time to care.
Provizio® SEM Scanner supports clinicians to identify increased risk of pressure injury on specific anatomical areas of a patients body on admission and 5 days*¹ earlier than visual skin assessment regardless of skin tone². It provides an adjunct to existing care pathways in pressure injury prevention such as Visual Skin and Tissue Assessment.
The Provizio SEM Scanner has a separately supplied single-use, non-sterile sensor for single patient use.
- Objective PI risk assessment on admission and 5 days*¹ earlier, regardless of skin tone.²
- Enable timely, anatomically-specific and targeted interventions.
- Digitally enhance the PI care pathway and outcome.

Objective PI assessment: The intelligent technology, designed in collaboration with HCPs and researchers, supports targeted PI incidence reduction in all challenging healthcare environments, regardless of skin tone².
The risk of pressure injuries assessed 5 days*¹ before it becomes visible: The Provizio SEM Scanner identifies increased risk of pressure injury on specific anatomical areas of a patient’s body on admission and 5 days*¹ earlier than visual skin and tissue assessment, allowing anatomically specific targeted interventions.
Focus on infection control: The Provizio SEM Scanner has single-use sensors therefore helping to manage the burden of disinfection and infection control.
Real-time data - easy to upload: The device scans and collects patient data in real-time, site-by-site and patient-by-patient. When placed in the Provizio Charging Hub, the collected data automatically transfers to the comprehensive Gateway Dashboard for patient, ward and facility management purposes.
Quick and easy to use: The Provizio SEM Scanner is designed to rapidly and easily scan anatomically-specific areas of the body to identify increased risk of pressure injury.
The intuitive user interface makes it incredibly easy to use, scan, read, interpret and take action based on real-time results.
