Wanneer zorgvragers niet meer zelfstandig vanuit een zittende positie kunnen opstaan, kan hun functionele onafhankelijkheid achteruitgaan. Daarom kan de mobiliteitssteun met twee standen helpen bij de ondersteuning van redelijk mobiele zorgvragers die zich zorgen maken over vallen en ondersteuning nodig hebben bij het uit bed stappen.
Zorgvragers kunnen de verstelbare mobiliteitssteun gebruiken als hulpmiddel om in en uit bed te stappen.De verticale positie ervan werkt vergelijkbaar met een stoelarm en helpt de zorgvrager zichzelf omhoog te duwen. Het is gebleken dat:
• Er minder spierinspanning nodig is om op te staan
• Het comfortabeler is in het gebruik dan een traditionele parallelle positie
• Bovendien kan het bed dankzij het grote hoogtebereik op de juiste hoogte worden geplaatst, zodat elke zorgvrager op een voor hem of haar veilige hoogte uit bed kan stappen
- Voeteneinde met handgreep om de zorgvrager te ondersteunen bij beweging rondom het bed
- Mobiliteitssteun met twee standen om zorgvragers te helpen in en uit bed te stappen
- In de gesloten stand biedt de mobiliteitssteun de zorgvrager een goede ondersteuning bij het herpositioneren in bed
