Our main customers are private and public institutions within acute care and long-term care. Our offering includes products and solutions for patient handling, hygiene, disinfection, medical beds, therapeutic surfaces, venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention and diagnostics. We also offer services such as training in connection with product sales.

We operate in more than 60 countries, which has been divided into three geographic areas: North America, Western Europe and Rest of the World. We have more than 5,900 employees worldwide. Our head office is in Malmö, Sweden.

Our history

Arjo was founded in 1957 by Swedish entrepreneur Arne Johansson and was given the name Arjo using the first two initials of the founder’s first and last name. Arjo originally manufactured components and machine parts for other manufacturers, including medical devices.
