PEARLS Air-Fluidized Therapy System

PEARLS™ full-body air-fluidized therapy system offers advanced pressure redistribution and microclimate management in a seamless design to assist with wound healing for patients with pressure injuries, burns, surgical flaps and grafts, and other wounds.

The PEARLS bed features full-body air-fluidization therapy designed to contour to the body and provide optimal immersion and envelopment. It provides customizable therapy for the most complex wounds through efficient and robust thermostatic controls, adjustable pulsation therapy options, a repositioning airflow “boost” feature, adjustable height and an integrated decontamination unit that allows the bed to “self-decontaminate” without ever leaving the room.

Shaped to fit
The intelligent design provides more active surface area for the upper torso and arms of the patient to aid in immersion and envelopment.

Full adjustability of airflow
The caregiver can choose between a wide range of settings to customize to patient therapy needs and aid in repositioning.

Improved thermostatic control
The PEARLS system is equipped with a robust and efficient cooler/dryer to control the ambient temperature surrounding the patient. Continuous air flow provides ventilation, which contributes to optimal microclimate management.

Repositioning assist foot pedal
While other systems only offer an on/off pedal, the PEARLS system additionally provides an airflow “boost” feature to facilitate patient repositioning.

Detachable control unit
To ensure a quiet and peaceful environment for the patient, the PEARLS control unit can be detached and moved almost 20 feet away.

Adjustable height
The frame is adjustable in height, which allows caregivers to choose their preferred working position, improving their workplace ergonomics.

Subtle illumination feature
Caregivers can observe patients without disturbing their sleep.

Integrated decontamination system
The system enables the bed to “self-decontaminate” without ever leaving theroom. This feature reduces the risk of cross contamination, and simplifies the cleaning process.
