TME - Total Managed Equipment Services and Contracts

TME is the implementation of a product and service solution to meet fundamental and specific clinical, financial and operational objectives of a healthcare organisation in a risk sharing partnership with a committed supplier resulting in many benefits to patients, staff and the trust.
Arjo currently provide Total Managed Equipment Solutions to over 30 NHS Trusts throughout the UK & Ireland, providing beds and therapeutic support surfaces. This incorporates logistics, maintenance, decontamination, clinical support and on-going replacement programmes.

Common product elements of a TME include:

  • Medical Beds
  • Active & reactive therapeutic support surfaces & seating systems
  • Critical care, bariatric & early mobilisation equipment
  • Patient Handling Solutions

All TME Contracts have an allocated Contracts Manager for the duration of the contract and, depending on the specification, a Clinical Nurse Advisor who would work closely with the Tissue Viability Team and other personnel to ensure products are used appropriately through education and training. Contract reviews, which will initially be held monthly, will include monitoring service level agreements, associated KPI’s, usage data, financial expenditure, inappropriate usage and actions taken to resolve which in turn will help to optimise clinical outcomes and reduce expenditure.

Further support would be available in the form of the local Area Sales Manager and dedicated Account Manager.  We have a dedicated low cost phone line to our call centre which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The call centre is staffed at all times and does not utilise an answer phone or messaging system; we also offer 24 hr ‘on call’ access to Clinical Support.
