Arjo receives new ESG ratings from EcoVadis and CDP

Arjo has received new environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings from two leading agencies, EcoVadis and CDP. They reflect Arjo’s continued progress in sustainability performance and governance and underline the growing importance of strong ESG credentials in healthcare markets worldwide

“For many healthcare providers, sustainability is now an integral part of their strategic agenda and procurement decisions. Our ESG ratings from EcoVadis and CDP give customers credible, externally verified assurance that Arjo supports their sustainability goals, whether related to climate and environmental performance, responsible sourcing or transparency across the value chain,” says Johan Östblad, Head of Sustainability at Arjo.

The latest results from EcoVadis and CDP demonstrate improvements across key sustainability topics and provide a strong foundation for continued progress.

EcoVadis: Upgrade from Bronze to Silver

The upgraded rating highlights Arjo’s progress in environmental performance, sustainable procurement, and labor and human rights, supported by enhanced reporting, improved KPIs, more frequent reporting and external review.

CDP: Strong scores in climate and supplier engagement

In CDP’s Climate Change assessment, Arjo received a B score, recognising robust climate-related disclosure, established governance structures, and systematic risk management and emissions reduction planning. In addition, Arjo achieved an A score in CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA), highlighting its structured approach to reducing emissions across the value chain.
