Our product development is based on the principles of EcoDesign, aiming to minimize resource use while delivering more circular products and solutions to our customers. Through our reprocessing business, ReNu, we enable the safe reuse of medical devices, helping healthcare providers transition to more circular operations while maintaining high standards of care.
Our climate targets
Arjo is committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions across our own operations (Scope 1 and 2) and our value chain (Scope 3). To achieve the targets, a Climate Transition Plan with strategic priorities has been developed, including yearly reduction goals and actions.
Target for own operations

Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from our own operations (Scope 1 and 2) by 50 percent by 2030, with 2021 as the base year.
Target for the value chain
25%
Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from our value chain (Scope 3*) by 25 percent by 2030, with 2021 as the base year.
*The material Scope 3 categories are Purchased goods and services, Upstream transportation and distribution and Use of sold products.
Science-based targets
Arjo’s climate targets are externally validated and approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. This means that the climate goals are aligned with the latest climate science and the Paris Agreement.

Transforming to renewable energy
Arjo is actively reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its facilities and vehicles by implementing energy efficiency measures, transitioning to renewable energy sources and converting our fleet to hybrid and electric vehicles.
