Amputee clip bathing in situ sling
The Amputee clip bathing in situ sling is suitable for bathing and showering residents/patients with bilateral leg amputations above the knee or total hip. It is designed with the ability to remain under the patient between transfers following clinical assessment.
The sling is intended for assisted transfers of double amputee patients/residents with limited ability to move. The mesh material allows water to pass easily through the sling.Independent testing indicates that the sling does not interfere with the performance of a typically used support surface. This can support clinical decision making when assessing the risk of leaving the sling underneath patients for a period of time between transfers. This can support efficient workflows and reduce the need for additional patient handling.
This sling should only be used together with Arjo passive lift systems (clip attachment) in accordance with the allowed combinations page on the specified section of the Instruction for Use.
