AtmosAir Velaris® Plus Flex is an advanced adaptable hybrid surface that combines reactive pressure redistribution with optional active alternating therapy, offering a complete “One Surface Strategy” for bariatric care. Developed for patients weighing up to 454 kg (1000 lbs), the Plus Flex supports safe, dignified care while helping prevent and manage pressure injuries across a wide range of clinical environments.
When connected to the AtmosAir Velaris pump, Plus Flex delivers active alternating therapy using AltoVac® technology, enabling full pressure offloading¹ and continuous therapy delivery, even for larger or less mobile patients. When the pump is not attached, the ARM® (Air Redistribution Module) ensures consistent reactive pressure redistribution in each air cell, supporting patient comfort and safety. Designed for Arjo’s Citadel Plus bed frame, the Plus Flex features removable side and foot bolsters that expand care flexibility, maintain edge support, and provide a stable, secure surface for bariatric patients.
