Huntleigh Healthcare’s Team3 / OBIX BeCA triplet fetal monitors receive FDA 510(k) clearance in the US

Arjo is proud to announce that its diagnostics division, Huntleigh Healthcare, has received 510(k) approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its Sonicaid® Team3 and OBIX BeCA® triplet fetal monitors, marking a significant advancement in the care of high-risk and multi-fetal pregnancies in the United States.

The clearance enables U.S. healthcare providers to access a solution that has been trusted globally for many years thanks to its performance in managing challenging obstetric cases.

“This is a major step forward for our customers,” says Todd Blockinger, Business Unit Director for Huntleigh USA. “The Team3 Triplet system is purpose-built for high-risk pregnancies. It combines proven technology with intuitive design, giving clinicians the clarity and confidence they need for timely and informed decisions.”

The Sonicaid® Team3 triplet is now available in antenatal clinics in the U.S. and is distributed in hospital and associated clinics by Clinical Computer Systems Inc, under the OBIX BeCA® brand.

“Our customers have been asking for this capability, and we’re excited to deliver,” explains Christina Olson, Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Clinical Computer Systems. “The OBIX BeCA triplet system is more than a monitor – it is a trusted clinical partner for managing the complexities of triplet gestations.”
