As the number of residents living with dementia continues to rise, so does the need for support - both at a carer and facility level. For carers and their residents living with dementia, we deliver non-pharmaceutical solutions that enable a person-centred approach to essential routines designed to reduce moments of friction around the clock.
The human body is made to move. If mobility is reduced, a long line of negative side effects often follows. This could involve lost muscle strength, blood clots, pressure injuries, infections and an increased risk of falls, as well as despondency and depression. By early mobilisation of a patient, many complications can be avoided, with the aim to reduce suffering and high costs. Our products and solutions support the safe and healthy mobilisation of patients – regardless of their situation.
Bariatric room solutions
Good bariatric care requires not only special handling equipment with appropriate weight ratings, but also solutions that take into account the importance of delivering safe, cost effective, and dignified care.
Research shows that healthcare professionals run a large risk of muscular and skeletal injuries resulting from a heavy work load and frequent manual patient transfers. Our products and solutions are designed to ensure safe patient handling – not only for the patient, but for the caregiver as well.
