Arjo is committed to ensuring fair and safe working conditions, both within our organization and together with suppliers in the value chain. Guided by our core principles, we strive to foster an inclusive culture and create workplaces where every employee has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and make a meaningful impact.
Growing business and people together
At Arjo, we are committed to growing our people and unlocking their full potential. We offer a range of development opportunities designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and career progression. To build high-performing teams and ensure individual alignment with personal drivers, we use tailored assessment tools that offer valuable insights. We measure the impact of these initiatives through our People Survey, using the insights to shape an even stronger employee experience.
An inclusive workplace
Arjo believes that inclusive workplaces are essential to building a strong company and achieving lasting success. To address complex challenges, we must continuously bring more creative and diverse perspectives to the table. We actively promote and work to embed an inclusive work environment, which is integral to our business performance - driving both creativity and leadership. This commitment is reflected in our Guiding Principles and Leadership Behaviours.
Ensuring occupational health and safety
Occupational health and safety are at the core of Arjo and central to our operations, products and services. We have implemented a structured safety management system to consistently achieve a high standard of safety performance and ensure continuous improvement. We have a clearly defined framework and behaviors for managing physical and psychological safety at our workplaces, as well as employees’ total well-being, with a Zero Accident Vision.
Product quality and safety
Ensuring the safety and quality of our products is not only a top priority, it's a defining feature of Arjo's brand. As a manufacturer of medical devices in a highly regulated industry, we are fully committed to complying with all relevant laws and standards in every market where we operate.

Human and labor rights
Arjo is committed to upholding internationally recognized human rights as stipulated in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) and the UN Global Compact. Through our Business Partner Code of Conduct, we expect all suppliers and business partners to respect and promote international human rights and fair labor conditions, and to avoid causing, contributing to, or being associated with adverse human rights or labor impacts. We continually advance our human rights initiatives and are committed to conducting human and labor rights due diligence across our supplier base.
Partnering with Pratham to empower education in India
Arjo supports Pratham, a leading non-profit organization working to improve the quality of education in rural India. Through the initiative Swedish Industry for Quality Education in India, we join other Swedish companies in helping children gain essential reading and math skills. Education is a powerful driver of equality and long-term societal change and our partnership with Pratham reflects Arjo’s commitment to social sustainability.
